Interaction of β-cyclodextrins with nitrates of cadmium (II) and mercury (II)

Abstract

Interaction of β-cyclodextrins with nitrates of cadmium (II) and mercury (II) in water solutions with рН ~ 1 was studied. Formation of the super molecules consisting of  inclusion compounds of nitrate-ions with β-cyclodextrin (or its derivatives) and metal complexes of functional groups of cyclodextrins with bivalent cations of  cadmium or mercury was proved by chemical analysis, UV, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy.
