Експериментальне і теоретичне дослідження окиснення природного та терморозширеного графіту
Анотація
Термогравіметричним методом вивчений процес окиснення повітрям зразків природного та терморозширеного графіту з площею питомої поверхні відповідно 1 та 32 м2/г. Підтверджено що, зростання питомої поверхні відбувається переважно за рахунок розшарування природного графіту вздовж базальної площини під час терморозширення. Встановлено, що температура максимальної швидкості окиснення зразка терморозширеного графіту на 150 °С нижча ніж у випадку природного графіту, що обумовлено зростанням його дисперсності внаслідок утворення графенових наноблоків товщиною близько 30–35 нм в результаті терморозширення. З використанням квантовохімічних розрахунків кластерних моделей графіту з трьох молекул коронену C24H12 показано, що окиснення графіту киснем з утворенням дефектних структур і молекули СО2 є енергетично вигідним лише шляхом видалення атома вуглецю з бічної поверхні графіту (енергетичний ефект реакції –325 кДж/моль).
